I have a SBT, a couple of RPi3's running Picoreplayer and a player running on my vortexbox. I can sync them all pretty well. There is a setting to add delay to a player when syncing players. It takes a bit of fiddling to get it right but once it set right it keeps them in sync seamlessly. I can't remember where the setting is but I'll have a look when I can.
