If you would just setup your router to always pass the same address based on MAC address, your problems would be 100% solved. DHCP is way more reliable, and if something ever changes in your setup......change your router, and reboot your devices, and they all get the new setup. Static is completely different in 3.5.0, so that will not hold in upgrades. We have not tested static between 4.0.0 and future upgrades. Paul PS. newconfig.cfg no longer works.
