OK, I was hoping that LMS could be closed down instantly too. What is the likely damage that will be done by not switching it off before pulling the power? The system has been in daily use for over two weeks now, and switched off by turning the power off. Nothing untoward seems to have happened thus far. One odd thing I have noticed is that if I have LMS open in a browser when I switch the power off, the display in the browser keeps running, with the tracks incremented as though it's still running. Refreshing the browser results in a page not found error, as you'd expect. (This in FF 62).
