Nowadays the 3rd-party plugin list in LMS web interface Settings/Plugins is where to find most and via magic* that list is updated automatically. There are some plugins that you install by adding individual repositories into LMS configuration but usually only to access special builds on plugins that are under development or for other good reasons ... for example to avoid a clash/confusion with a pre-existing plugin (BBC iPlayer springs to mind) It is technically possible to install plugins by other means but with current LMS it is very unlikely to be needed unless you are developing your own plugin and even then it has risks. * Michael Herger has a script that collects data from individual repositories and merges it into the list in LMS - seems to happen automatically a few times per day Paul Webster http://dabdig.blogspot.com Author Radio France (FIP etc) plugin ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Paul Webster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=105 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109718 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
