You understand that Flirc emulates a keyboard right ?

You then program the Flirc with the flirc programmer software

Edit: I use windoze for this

You then need to program the Flirc to the remote you want to use to send
the keys you want to send from

You need to do NOTHING to piCorePlayer for Flirc to work with JIVELITE

Plug flirc into Pi and test !
