Well I was going on what I read here https://www.jogglerwiki.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3071 and that fact that neither wpa_supplicant nor wireless-tools are in the base image, but are in the SqueezePlay image. I never noticed that you had listed wps_supplicant for install :o (I have been using my own spoof sheet for most of it, just trying out bits of your approach every now and then). I tried with wireless-tools and no wpa-supplicant and it would not work. I then added wpa_supplicant and it did work. I did not try the other way around. I have no idea on how to clean up the new image, so I'll maybe play with that later, after a "remove headers" google. But there must be more clues in the SqueezePlay OS, on how to do things, it's just that I don't know/understand which packages and scripts are needed/interconnected. The post by *ralphy* here https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?110040-Jivelite-on-a-Joggler&p=931874&viewfull=1#post931874 is an example of what I mean. For me, it's just trial and error and tough sledding. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110040 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
