Thanks Greg! I tested 3A and 4A (No Difference) and yes it does look
like now with pCP 5.0 you does need to leave Squeezelite on for
Shairport-sync to start automatically. I can tell you that with version
3.22 that was not the case.

I have simplified my User command #1 with your much easier command
"pcp_shairport_start" that is far better than my
(/usr/local/sbin/shairport-sync -a "WHA AirPlay Server" -o alsa -S soxr
-d -D -R --metadata-pipename=/tmp/shairport-sync-metadata --get-coverart
-- -d hw:CARD=sndrpihifiberry)


The reason for me turning off Squeezelite is that this pCP runs as a
dedicated Whole House Audio AirPlay Server... I have another pCP on a
different Raspberry Pi 3 that runs as a dedicated SqueezeBox Player.
They feeds as two distinct input sources to a multi-room zoned
amplifier.
