Thanks Greg! I tested 3A and 4A (No Difference) and yes it does look like now with pCP 5.0 you does need to leave Squeezelite on for Shairport-sync to start automatically. I can tell you that with version 3.22 that was not the case. I have simplified my User command #1 with your much easier command "pcp_shairport_start" that is far better than my (/usr/local/sbin/shairport-sync -a "WHA AirPlay Server" -o alsa -S soxr -d -D -R --metadata-pipename=/tmp/shairport-sync-metadata --get-coverart -- -d hw:CARD=sndrpihifiberry) The reason for me turning off Squeezelite is that this pCP runs as a dedicated Whole House Audio AirPlay Server... I have another pCP on a different Raspberry Pi 3 that runs as a dedicated SqueezeBox Player. They feeds as two distinct input sources to a multi-room zoned amplifier. Thanks so much for the help! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jeangv's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69260 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110642 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
