FYI - Adafruit has a dual SPI display card for Raspberry PIs called the
animated eyes bonnet (https://www.adafruit.com/product/3356).  I realize
it would need to stack with an I2S DAC or digital AMP.  It just might
make wiring something like this a bit easier.  Then again, I solder my
own stuff together so my idea of "easier" may not be like everyone
else's. :)
