I'm having trouble with this. It seems the 'HiFiBerry DAC Zero/MiniAMP' isn't the issue after all, but rather coercing '-o equal' into the squeezelite command string. I just did a very basic install with a fresh image of b7. 1) I set up squeezelite to use the 'HiFiBerry DAC Zero/MiniAMP' device and rebooted. Sound played ok. 2) Then I added the alsaequal.tcz extension, set the 10-band equaliser to 'yes' under audio tweaks, and rebooted. 3) After a reboot, the equaliser makes no difference to the sound, and that's evidently because of this rather contradictory message on the squeezelite page. [image: http://www.cjh.me.uk/MyPhotobucket/cache/DIYHifi/Jivelite/240x240/alsaequal%20setup_640.jpg] No amount of reconfiguring/saving/rebooting will get 'equal' onto that field, and it doesn't seem to be user editable. But if I disable the default version of squeezelite, then put the same command line as a user command, and change the output to '-o equal', then the equaliser works as expected. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ chill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10839 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111502 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
