So it's a LMS on pCP/usb mount problem ?

Well why not try LMS on a Raspbian Desktop ?

https://www.google.com/search?newwindow=1&client=firefox-b-d&q=hfs%2B+and+raspberry+pi&spell=1&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiqjKeTlrXnAhW4RhUIHRidCMgQBSgAegQIDBAm&biw=1536&bih=797

I'm just suggesting this as an alternative.

The 'Desktop OS of Raspbian '
(https://downloads.raspberrypi.org/raspbian_latest)installs with a VNC
server which allows remote connection :)

It also looks prettier
