LMS itself doesn't really need to move, it's just the library data. You
can create symlinks to any location without reinstalling anything...
Just be careful about:
- folder/file permissions in the new location
- making sure the new drive (with LMS data) is mounted before LMS
starts
7 years old machine is absolutely fine as a server... I used LMS on a
Raspberry Pi B+ with 512Mb RAM, it's much less powerful than a 7-years
old laptop or desktop.
