Planning for new hardware is something that you should seriously think about but back to your original question.
LMS has no inherent limitation on database size. Memory is very important for performance especially on a 7.7.* system. If LMS is becoming unreliable - the initial step would be to delete the LMS database and rebuild it especially if a clean scan has not been done for a while. You could also clear many cache files. Perhaps also stop LMS and do a fsck. Reinstall LMS is only required if you think LMS has become corrupted - you could just delete pref files to do a "new installation" ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112030 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
