I figured it worked through Jivelite. I don't think this remote works through IR though. It's got a dongle and works like an MS keyboard. I have Jivelite running on both RPI's and only the one with the screen has any remote functionality. I also made sure it wasn't picking up a IR signal from the remote. The phone would work great except Android checks to see if there is WiFi internet connection and if not, it drops the WiFi signal. I would love to get some sort of remote working in the car that doesn't depend on a touch screen or IR. Thanks.
