I've no idea if this thread covers bluetooth ... but here's the outcome of my latest attempt using bluetoothctl:
Failed to pair: org.bluez.Error;AuthenticationCanceled The Freebuds are listed as a device in bluetoothctl but never appear on the pCp bluetooth page In ctl they are shown as trusted.
