Unfortunately, I -think- that'll only work with sound output direct from
the Pi -- eg, via a sound card  or bluetooth -- as opposed to a signal
sent to an SB3.  (Basically, you configure the Pi to send the sound
output to Alsaeq, which then processes it, and passes it on to the
actual output device.)

You -can- use Alsaeq with Squeezelite -- see

-- but I suspect that's because you can configure where Squeezelite
takes its input from (ie, the equalizer, instead of straight from a
soundcard), which you can't do with an SB3 or similar.
