In version 4, pCP would continually push out connection attempts. This was highly inefficient.
In version 6, pCP allows any device that is paired to connect. So it's not that pCP won't connect, its that your speaker isn't trying to connect. I have no idea why some devices do this. I have a handful of speakers. Some connect right away, others take about 30 seconds or so, and some don't connect at all. piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM.
