Jumping in late on this thread. I have been engaging ralphy directly on
what looks to be this same issue. Using SLX (2.6.30) and raphy's latest
Squeezelite-x64 (1270).  I find that somewhere around 1 minute before
the end of a track one thread of my 16 thread Ryzen 1700 shoots to 100%
usage (Squeezelite-x64) for 30s, then music stops for 10s-30s, thread
usage drops back to ~0% (as it should be for mp3) then music
continues... logs show stream reset. Happens more frequently when
playing a "random" playlist from LMS server, but still occurs
intermittently when playing an album.  -b 10000:10000 works.

Why 100% thread usage? Occurs on 4min and 6minute tracks, around 1m0s to
1m15s before end of file?
