The 3B and 3B+ use a different chipset...... and thus different kernel
drivers, but there is no difference to pCP.

You can try to do manual pairing via ssh session.

When scanning, as soon as you see the device you want, then type scan
off

Here is an example session......after pairing, make sure the set the
trust too.

After this....if it works go into the pCP web page and then try to
continue setting up.
