Hi..! I hope I am at the right place now. Please redirect me otherwise.
I'm using squeezelite v1.9.6-1206-pCP from pCP v6.1.0 on a Raspberry Pi 3B, with a USB connected Topping D10s DAC. And I want to use the mixer device that is built-in in the USB DAC for volume adjustment from LMS and a IR remote. That works as expected by adding the option "-V D10s" on the command line when starting squeezelite. I can verify that by running "alsamixer" who indicates correct mixer device D10s, and reflects any changes in volume adjustments done via LMS or IR remote. However, I found that playing tracks with different replaygain values does not affect the volume control in alsamixer. At the same time the volume is clearly adjusted according to the replaygain. Presumably performed by squeezelite..? Or is it just alsamixer that somehow don't show this change..? I had expected that all volume control should be implemented by my DAC through alsamixer, both main volume control and replaygain. But this is the first time I try this configuration, and I might very well have misinterpreted the whole thing... ~ pi.r ~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pi.r's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9406 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
