Hi Folks,
I have 2 Hifiberry's (Digi pro + DAC pro) running different versions of picoreplayer (5.00 + 6.10) but neither of them will crossfade across as per the settings. I hear 1 track end before the other begins even though smart crossfade is set to 10 seconds. So I have tested squeezelite versions v1.9.7-1270-pCP and Squeezelite v1.9.8-1287-pCP and neither will crossfade when I have also tested 1.9.8.1287 on Windows and 1.8.4 on Ubuntu and they work as expected. Are there some specific buffer or ALSA settings required to get Crossfading working as expected on this HW? I've attached logs I've captured from playback and do see some differences in log output during song transitions between the Windows machines and the machine running picore.
