This /opt/bootlocal.sh option works well for my USB DAC script too, and
it cuts out a manual step (adding the User Command in Tweaks).  So the
whole process will become:
1) Create the script file and make it executable
2) Run it once with a specific option (previously 'make', but that'll
probably become 'install')
3) Backup and reboot

I wonder if Paul and the team have any words of caution concerning the
use of /opt/bootlocal.sh this way?
