So 3 features: - ALAC support - Begin playback at a specific time (with -j and -e switches) - Read files from stdin - I've made outreach to the maintainer of what appears to be the canonical upstream of faad: https://github.com/knik0/faad2 asking if they are interested in adding ALAC support. I don't think anyone has taken the time to do such outreach in the past, but I may be wrong about that.
