The "Add a Topping E30 USB DAC" topic was written by me and is what I have done on my system. It's been working perfect for me.
The E30 needs to be powered before pCP starts. There is no automatic USB detection of the DAC. That's why I power it via the RPi4B USB. Once the E30 was configured, I haven't needed to use the E30 remote control. > Yep, I'm also using the power supply that came with the 4B.
