Here is the data sheet link

https://https://www.hifiberry.com/docs/data-sheets/datasheet-dac2-pro-xlr/

The Hifiberry OS has Squeezelite

With regard to the overlay:

I mean that you should check that pCP is indeed, loading the correct
overlay.

First, using Hifiberry OS, you should be able to find the loaded overlay
and verify that it is the one in the data sheet.

Then, in the pCP install the nano extension (unless you are happy with
vi;

In Squeezelite settings select what you think is the appropiate Audio
Output Setting,

looks likely.

Install that and reboot

If it does not work, SSH into the pCP

https://docs.picoreplayer.org/how-to/edit_config_txt/

and see which overlay is loaded, it will be at the bottom of the page.

If it is different to the one that works with the HIfiberry OS then
replace it, save and exit.

then type

pcp br

and press the enter key

See if it works

It might be a good idea to download a fresh image of pCP and make a new
image (also clear your browser cache). In fact I would try this first :)
as it often seems to work. :)
