I bought the medical version which supposedly has a lower ripple current, but costs a few pounds more. Some people have bypassed the 24v section and powered the PI2AES from a 5v supply, but there is no protection of the board in this case.
The RPI4 is powered with a Charmast battery pack. My trusty Ankaka battery is now being used to charge the Charmast... Mike at PI2Design is helpful if you have questions.
