I tried playing with the options on the mount command, and the first try
worked. You can see the command in the screenshot below, along with the
response.

You can see that it tries seven times and finally succeeds. (Hooray!!)

Unfortunately, I understand almost none of it. The options in the
original pCP mount command are:

nolock
uid=1001
gid=50

along with the network address. I got the impression from an earlier
failure that the nolock option was important, so I retained it and
jettisoned the others. But in the end, it's not clear to me that the
nolock option was actually employed. As for uid and gid, a little
research indicates they can be important for certain file systems, but
the site I read didn't say anything about NFS with regard to them. So, I
really don't know why pCP employs them. Anyway, apparently one of them
produces an error for me.

Surely it would be better if the command used the right options to begin
with and the system didn't have to try seven times to mount the NAS. So,
if anybody can say anything illuminating about this, that would be
great. Obviously, I have no experience with this.

Anyway, for now it's working and I'm listening to music.
