There are always people who have trouble for one reason or another and then trash the brand they had trouble with. I personally would not buy a Sonnet card because they can not easily be over-clocked and often Sonnet is already over-clocking the card for you ;-) but many people who don't care about over-clocking are very happy with them. XLR8 is my card of choice. It is easy to over-clock and has the more settings then the Powerlogix cards. They also work better then most if you have older 70ns ram or mixed older newer & or EDO & FPM ram. I would also say that all 3 still in business companies make good products. So it is often a matter of price and whether over-clocking is important to you. Most of the cards come ready to use at standard clock settings so sonnets selling point of no messy settings is a marketing thing . Schwinn
