That is a very good price and while I don't own a Powerlogix card
I've heard from many who have liked the cards. There are always
people who have trouble for one reason or another and then trash the
brand they had trouble with. I personally would not buy a Sonnet card
because they can not easily be over-clocked and often Sonnet is
already over-clocking the card for you ;-) but many people who don't
care about over-clocking are very happy with them. XLR8 is my card of
choice. It is easy to over-clock and has the more settings then the
Powerlogix cards. They also work better then most if you have older
70ns ram or mixed older newer & or EDO & FPM ram. I would also say
that all 3 still in business companies make good products. So it is
often a matter of price and whether over-clocking is important to
you. Most of the cards come ready to use at standard clock settings
so sonnets selling point of no messy settings is a marketing thing .
