The XLR8 has the same two settings bus & clock multiplier. If I understand correctly the Powerlogix cards only have a few bus settings to choice from but the XLR8 cards I know have settings from 40- 66 mhz bus with .6 settings in between ever full numbered bus setting. This maybe over kill but some motherboards which won't run at say 57 mhz may run fine at 56.6. so it lets you really fine tune your bus setting for max speed. The latest Powerlogix cards may have more bus speeds then a year or 2 ago but then at least some cards only had a handful to choice from. Will S
