Hey there, I think I know what your going through, and it's not any of those you listed., but not positive, try this first..I have 10.2 installed on my 7600 and it worked great, then I installed something and went to restart...nothing, harddrive made a few noises then nothing but a blank screen, I hooked up a monitor too my onboard video and it booted fine? weird, anyhoo it did it too me again, I ended up having to boot into OS 9 using xpostfacto 2.1.1 installed extensions again went to install, but after the start up chime I hit the 3 keys (3 fingered salute) and pulled the cd from the drive.....OSX booted fine, and has worked fine now for a week.....hope this might help, Mark
