I'm attempting to upgrade a 9600/G3/350 from X.1.5 to X.2. The X.2 installer won't allow me to select my X.1.5 partition, complaining that it's not completely within the first 8 gb of the drive. even though it is the first partition on an 80 gb drive, and is exactly 8 gb (8192 mb) in size. Obviously I didn't have this problem with earlier versions of OSX (which also need to reside in the first 8 gb on OldWorld machines), so why is this happening now?
Is there any way around this, or do I have to reformat the drive so that the first partition is less than exactly 8 gb? -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
