I don't think there's any reason to fuss though. I installed it and bada bing bada boom it's working. No messing around with *nix plumbing on that. Same with GIMP print- designed to print from GIMP, but now used to tap into the CUPS stuff built into Jaguar. It configures really easily. There is support for SO many printers with this setup.
