Awww, that's sweet Will, but you forgot to mention that I am also a 
*super genius* :D haha, yea right......

I should clarify, that installing the software isn't so tough, and for 
some printers it is easier than setting up a regular driver. However, 
some printers seem to incredibly hard to get working with 
Ghostscript/GIMPprint. My LaserWriter NT simply would not print and 
after 2 weeks of trying I finally gave up and stuffed an NTR board in. 
Lets face it, for some people OSX caused our old printers to become 
nothing more than a very large, expensive, beige brick. Fortunantly, 
most of those seem to be the really old printers (the LWNT came out 
July 1990). Most of the newer inkjet printers from the last 4 years 
seem to work like a charm with Ghostscript/GIMPprint.

In my case, it just wan't worth the trouble, an I flubbed up my system. 
Hence the quote below. I guess I run down the middle of a love/hate 
relationship with GIMPprint.
