Hi erik, I have a 9600 that has a bunch of upgrades in it. Quite of few of them are from Sonnet. I have had a Crescendo G3/450/1M in my 9600 for almost two years now. It has worked flawlessly. I also have one of their TEMPO ATA/100 PCI IDE host adapters driving an 80 GB IDE Hard Drive. Also without problems. And, one of the TANGO USB/Firewire PCI cards. No problems there either.
Before you jump in and buy from either sonnet or powerlogic, be sure to take a look at OtherWorld Computing's web site. They have a very good deal on a G4 ZIF processor upgrade that works in the 9600. I have ordered on for another 9600 I am upgrading. Sorry, but I do not have it yet, so I can not report on how well it does or does not work.
