I've not yet used it but have heard it does a good job of testing ram. 
It is OSX only in fact is a command line app ported from UNIX. It will 
test all but apox 10mb of your ram. So you then can change ram slots if 
you want to be sure to get it all tested. It takes apox 4 hours to run 
the 15 tests it does on 512mb of ram with a 450 G3 machine. Let us know
