        Perhaps you are missing the point....The Acard/Sonnet/66 cards see the 
drives as SCSI so are not affected by the 8 GB limit which IDE drives 
are. The VST cards see the drives as IDE(in OSX- I think they see them 
as SCSi in OS 9.x but not sure and it doesn't really matter ...) so 
they are affected by the 8gb limit just as the Beige G3 with there ide 
drives are. I hope that is clear now.
