It'll help, but I doubt it wil be "tremendous". Don't get your hopes up

ATI Radeon PCI Mac Edition, or ATI Radeon 7000 PCI for Mac.

You're /probably/ going to need to keep a monitor connected to the 
internal display for it to boot. This means you have twin monitors; if you 
want 2 on the Radeon, you'll need to have *three.*
