I'm fairly sure they fixed that bug in 10.2, Beige G3 owners have reported it works fine now without anything on the on-board video. I presume (perhaps dangerously!) that it applies to other Old World machines too. If it does require something attached to the internal video then a MAc to VGA adapter is enough to fool a Mac and is cheaper and less obstructive than third monitor :). -- Mark Benson AIM - SilValleyPirate Visit FlatPackMacs online: <http://fpm.gotdns.com> "...you have a social security number, you pay your taxes, and you help your landlady carry out her garbage." -The Matrix -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:UnsupportedOSX@;mail.maclaunch.com> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:UnsupportedOSX-off@;mail.maclaunch.com> For digest mode, email: <mailto:UnsupportedOSX-digest@;mail.maclaunch.com> Subscription questions: <mailto:listmom@;lemlists.com> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> --------------------------------------------------------------- >The Think Different Store http://www.ThinkDifferentStore.com ---------------------------------------------------------------
