i upgraded a Powercenter(non-pro) to run 10.1.5 and i can tell you that you need a few things.
1. an ATA card & IDE drive(20 gigs or more). 2. 256 megs ram minimum. 3. at least a 16 meg Rage Orion video card. 4. a faster cdrom(i went with a 32x IDE). still had to leave the 4X original scsi cdrom installed because the IDE cdrom would not boot the machine. a cd placed in the 4x scsi drive won't always show up on the desktop but it will always boot. 5. a G3 upgrade card. i used a 266. if you want to run it respectably, then do at least this. otherwise it's a curiosity and not much more. i also added a USB card for peripheral compatibility. mine was a desktop model, so to make room for the extra cdrom which took up the bay i would've used for the hard drive, i removed the floppy and put the hard drive there. if yours is a tower, you won't have that problem. i'll be installing Jaguar on my next trip home(this is my moms machine), so i'll report back on what i encounter with that.
