I too have seen issues with ram. I've heard of some doing the install with minimun ram and then putting it back in after the installation.
If I'm hearing you correctly, I'm not sure if testing the ram in another box on another OS will actually be doing you any good. The ram that won't work with 10.2 may work fine as mixed ram and test out just fine before the install. Larry > >I didn't try booting to OS X yet on that S900.
