No joy...Apple Disk Setup's "Format and Initialize" fails. Repeatedly.

Anyone having any success with any other industrial-strength tools to do
this? Has anyone used this SIGG UltraSCSI card with success? Has anyone
used these (IBM Ultrstar DPSS-318350N 18Gb) drives sucessfully?
