    Hello Eric,
I reformatted the ext. HD, checked the disk with TechTool Pro and tried to
install OS 10X through XPF. I don't do OS 9.1 installs because the only
thing I want in this partition is OS10X. The window showed all the parts
being copied, then the computer went blank. Instead of the screen lighting
up with OS 10 or reverting back to OS 9.1, as it has done before, it stayed
blank again. I had to Zap the Pram to get light again. There must be a
conflict somewhere that I never had before.
