Has anyone gotten a Radeon 7000 to work in an x600 based Mac? I cannot tell from ATI's site whether or not it will work or not.

I have an ATI Radeon 7000 working in a 9600. Also has G3 300 and ATA100 from Sonnet. Works fine under 9.1 and 10.2.6.
Haven't enabled PCI extreem but have tweaked X with MOX optimiser for snappier performance. So really depends on what you want - older box with the knowledge you did something Apple said you couldn't or a newer and possibly faster box with "beter" support.
