Has anyone gotten a Radeon 7000 to work in an x600 based Mac? I cannot tell from ATI's site whether or not it will work or not.
Perfectly....plugged it in and it worked. You need to hack it a bit to get it working on OS 9, since the card needs 9.2 and 9.2 won't natively install, but under Jaguar it worked perfectly.
Just *DON'T* install the update on ATI's web site on OSX > 10.2.3, later drivers in OSX supecede those updates, and you can have video problems
