Bummer. I have a problem with the drive. It seems when I have the CD-ROM in my 9600, I 
get the
spinning beach ball when I am running OS X. Happens periodically. But it never happens 
when I take
out the 12x CD-ROM and have my 4x CD burner in the 9600.
