That was then. So the same advice is good: Start the install over again from the beginning. Hopefully you don't have a bad CD player and you just need to adjust XPF.
Even if the CD drive is bad there is still another way: You can copy the content of the System CD to one of your partitions (obviously not the one you are going to install OS X to), and restart from there. Additional benefit: the installation procedure works faster. Advice on this can be found at www.zone6400.com.
