IS IT SAFE ? (this time)

Some one else mentioned that APE Managers Clear Dock
gets rendered useless. Anyone know if this is still the case?

Clear Dock is fine, but... Perhaps I'm the only one having some problems?

My problems since the 10.2.8 update which appear to be not fixed with the newer 10.2.8, which I also installed as the full combo, hoping to overwrite any errors possible:

1) Certain Preferences lost or needing correction.
2) Mail.app problems, including a lost mailbox which seems to be missing parts of addresses of certain recent mail.
3) WindowShadeX 3.01 makes Limewire window very small upon shading, and it can't be enlarged without quitting Limewire. (not the MIP function (Minimize In Place, the window shrinks to a small icon on desktop), but the OS 9-like shading function makes the window resize too about 3" across, too small to read)
4) eBay search window will not initiate search with <return> after filling out search form. Requires mouse click on search button or double <return> waiting between.
5) Certain webpages hang during loading and will not load (seem Java intensive pages).
6) Safari Unexpectedly Quits infrequently when using the <back> or <forward> buttons. Hit the button and poof, Safari is gone!
7) Programs that modify others like Safari Enhancer & PCI Extreme required reinstallation (not always needed with other OS X updates).
8) Intermittent Copy-Paste operations don't function. The Copy text shows up in Clipboard, but the Paste won't show in certain forms or documents.
9) Perhaps intermittent ethernet problems, my cable modem connection seems slightly impaired, but I haven't checked it.
10) I had two System freezes where everything stopped solid. I've never had anything like this in OS X before, and I started at 10.0 a long time ago. I 'option' booted 9, and then XPF'd to an OS X utility drive and ran disk repair utilities before rebooting. No major problems, just some orphaned Temp. files. Reboot was fine, but I also had a spinning beachball upon Shutdown that responded to a Force Quit of Finder after 10+ minutes of spinning, and then did Shut Down. I thought these freezes might be bad memory, but I haven't changed memory in several months of continuous solid operation. Just to be certain, I ran two different memory tests, one all night long, and no memory problems were detected.

The disk/system is fine with all utilities. I want to blame all the Safari on the v.85.5 update from v.85. Java seems involved also, but it was fine in 10.2.6 with Java 1.4.1 Update 1.
I'm almost ready to archive reinstall the whole shebang and stop at 10.2.6 until I find out more about what's going on. I hope it's me only. To be fair, I need to mention my brother's new puppy did yank the power plug once, but the system was idle at the time, and I didn't find any problems upon reboot. Let's hope the puppy is to blame.
