I agree with Stuart.  10.2.8 is quite useable on a 7500 upgraded with a
300MHz G3 with 400 Mb of memory and an ATI Rage 128 video card.  

Also, my two cents on the XP/PC usability debate.  I have just completed a
project in my office to upgrade Pentium II 300 to XP.  The only thing they
need is 192Mb of RAM.  With lots of RAM XP is quite snappy in older
machines.
