I tried iTV and XTV neither of which worked. I was also getting complete system freezes needing a forced restart. These seemed to stop after I removed ALL the files associated with both of these apps and I remove a com.apple.Coregraphics.plist which must have been corrupted.

I also tried the ProTV beta drivers with TV Studio but TV Studio kept
telling me that "a firewire device was not connected" then it would quit.
(I don't have firewire on my G3 MT 300)

Andy,

I also do not have Firewire on my 7300 (yet). Did you use the version of TV Studio that is recommended (and possibly altered) to work with these drivers? I believe it is v. 3.0.2. If you'd like, I can send you a copy of the one that worked for me.

Also, what version of OS X are you running? It is my understanding that this will only work on 10.2.3 to 10.2.6 for now, although I may be mistaken. I think it might have something to do with the libraries distributed with the OS.

Good luck

Michael

NOTE: As far as I am concerned, this thread should be stopped on Unsupported OS X now, as it really has nothing to do with OS X, except for the fact that we are trying to get this card to work on OS X. I suggest it is taken off-list, to keep the uninterested happy.
Thanks.
