There are no laws that prohibit this kind of activity. Someone would have to prove that UPHPU was involved in activities that artificially inflated or deflated PHP programmer salaries in a certain area. However, it is sometimes disconcerting to read about others that may be compensated at a higher rate than you. Unfortunately, todays world is so full of greed that no one wants anyone else to know how much they make for fear of be ridiculed (either for making too little or too much).
