(Not that I think our current membership is "old blood" or that we
need an infusion of "new blood" or anything, that was just the phrase
that popped into my head :p)

I think that uphpu members might be well served by holding a meeting
on putting together a good resume, interviewing for jobs (for those
looking for a 9 to 5 with an established company), meeting with
prospective customers, pitching yourself and your skills, and closing
sales (for those looking for freelance work).

In addition, it might be beneficial to UPHPU as an organization to
seek out schools in Utah that teach PHP and then go there and let them
know about our organization and invite their students to the job
search/resume/freelancing seminars. This way we can attract new
members and provide a service to the community at the same time.

Also, vis a vis attracting new members - I was at the bookstore one
day and saw a guy pick up a book on PHP, so I told him about UPHPU. I
don't know if he ever made his way here or not, but it gave me an
idea. When I bought a copy of Jarhead (a book about a Marine in the
Iraq war), there was a business card inside of it for a Marine
recruiter. I thought it was a clever way to reach your target
audience. It might help us get new members if we had some business
cards printed up and slipped them into PHP books in various bookstores
across the state. I'd be willing to donate some cash for the printing
of the cards.

its base 7 representation? (before the radix point, aka "decimal
